LION 0.30
Finally, the 0.30 version of LION is OUT, with it the new combat system and a lot of bug fixes and improvements to the gameplay, LION for the first time feels like is finally taking shape, there is a final element to fix, The Enemies. A new tier of enemies is coming on the version 0.35, and will introduce the last ability of Rosamunde the Crystal shield, but until this comes, here are the new elements of the game.
First of all, the combat system was rewritten and with new moves and attacks, As you know Rosamunde uses the children to attack, each child now posses an element and unique way of attacking each, the Cut children are the most powerful one, causing 3 hit points per Hit and are also the fastest however as you know they do not last forever, each child will have for the hole game only 3 Power or Charge points, and attacks and actions of Rosamunde will consume 1, 2 or 3 Charge points.
Rosamunde thus posses Diverse attacks that can be executed depending on the combination of actions, first She has a Normal Chain Combo attack and a charged attack, the combo attacks are a chain of 3 attacks and the player can change the attack by change the children during the attack before the next one, thus the player can call a Cut and then a pierce attack like if they were different weapons, then the charged attacks are called by Holding the Left Mouse Button for a Second then it will automatically call it, each child type posses an unique attack that is based on the squadron features, Pierce for instance jump and are launched on midair to the point where are aiming and then shoot a rain of projectiles in the direction below the launch, and the others execute similar powers, such s the Magic one casting a rain of Frost shoots in all directions.
Then are the Doge attacks, there is one for the normal doge and another for the Bridge doge, the bridge doge cast with all children a Paths of elemental crystals of the child same color, in different ways and paths, and the normal Doge is a Stab like attack with increase knock back and damage.
Is possible that new attacks will be implemented, all will be unlooked form the beginning in the demo however in the main game, it will be required to get them in special side quests.
Probably I will introduce a charged Doge attack and a Charge Air Attack, as on-air Rosamunde will execute the normal attack but floating in midair, I want something special when using the charge there.
On Top Of it, the Radial Menu has been fixed, where many issues where around the menu when selecting and unselecting and sounds still playing, as also been improves to allow chain selection when holding the Left mouse button. Also, a Beacon will appear indicating where is the child hovered and the ones already selected.
Also, the test level has also been expanded, this test world will be used for the Demo that is being prepared, now a new section is in development, new enemies and assets are being made to accommodate it, this is also to explore and experiment with the Gear Gating or MetroidVania exploration.
Also the assault attack, has been modified so there will be a charge to get all enemies on range, this way won’t fell to overpowered this technique to make all children charge.

- Attack system reprogramed
- Attack more responsive and fuller of Features
- Doge stab attack implemented
- Doge assault attack, a bad ass technique that will send a child in slow motion to attack enemies on Rosamunde doge path
- Crystal Path attack, a Technique that allows to summon impale crystal from the ground using the Bridge doge and then attack while charging the Doge in slow motion.
- 5 Stars base implementation, the charge attack version of the Bridge Doge attack, still work in progress, each child will spawn a different Star Shape.
- Fixes to menus spawning in main menu and when should not breaking the game.
- errors when grabbing certain objects are now fixed
- The Launch Child Has Been improved as well as the Child Shoot
